The past two years have been all about adjusting to motherhood and finding my way through it via craft. The out pouring of this came in the form of my blog Aunty Mum. Now I'm finally finding my feet, the children are growing, I'm getting some independence and my interests are morphing . . . into cooking. Join me in exploring creativity in many forms, food, fabric, frowns and laughter.
With the potatoes we planted a few weeks ago raring to grow and be eaten we had a trip to the garden centre this week, awoke to the most glorious day we've seen in ages and went off to plant even more goodies in the garden.
Upon leaving I got Rogan all dressed up in his "dirty" clothes and he slapped on his shades. What a gardening dude he looked. Of course, the smile didn't last too long once the hose came out to water the plants and he realised I wasn't going to allow him to wash our new vegetables straightt out of the ground. Thankfully our little neighbour Hope popped over the play for a while and the tears didn't last long.
And here's the master piece of vegetable delight. We have pumpkin, cucumber, red cabbage, standard cabbage, lettuce, celery, cauliflower and brocolli. Yum! It's a good thing we're all avid vege eaters in our house cos there's going to be plenty.
